Woburn, Massachusetts, August 26, 2025 – Northern Bank announces an ongoing community food drive initiative, bringing together neighbors across Middlesex County to help ensure no family goes hungry. Running through December 2025, this collaborative effort demonstrates the bank's commitment to helping communities thrive together.
The food drives rotate monthly between Northern Bank branches, creating multiple opportunities for community members to contribute:

Reading and Littleton branches, supporting the Reading Food Pantry and Loaves & Fishes

Acton and Melrose branches, supporting the Acton Food Pantry and Bread of Life

Chelmsford, Billerica and Sudbury branches, supporting the Open Pantry of Greater Lowell and Sudbury Food Pantry

The initiative launched in July with drives at the Bank’s Chelmsford and Woburn branches and is accepting donations at the Bank’s Westford and Stoneham Branches through the end of August. This initiative invites community members to bring non-perishable food donations to participating locations. Each month, two to three branches serve as collection points, making it convenient for neighbors to contribute and ensuring consistent support reaches local food pantries and families in need.
