Managing Director of Northern Advisory Services

Dan Connelly brings 25 years of franchise-based transaction experience to Northern Bank in his role as the head of Northern Advisory Services, a division of Northern Bank. Dan is focused specifically on mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, valuation services, exit strategy planning, and restructurings.

Prior to joining Northern Bank, Dan spent many years at Dunkin’ where he managed the corporate real estate portfolio, franchisee to franchisee network sales process, and spearheaded the purchase of multiple independent coffee brands, which were then converted to Dunkin’ locations.

Dan also spent many years of his career at independent banks, leading over 100 transactions in 24 states, with aggregate transaction value exceeding $1 billion for major brands, including Dunkin’, Wendy’s, 5 Guys, Hardees, Burger King, and Popeyes. He has also been a keynote speaker at industry conferences, as well as a recurring winner of the Franchise Times Dealmaker of the Year Award.
