All Northern Bank customers receive a complimentary installation of IBM’s Trusteer Rapport solution to install on their home or business computers. Trusteer runs in the background on your PC or Mac and helps protect against cyber criminals stealing your login information.

Northern PeoplePay - easy transfers online and on the go
With Northern Bank’s PeoplePay you can send or request money with family, friends, hair stylists, landscapers, babysitters – anyone with a mobile phone or an email address. It’s simple to use and here at Northern Bank there are no fees
Sending or requesting money is as simple as:
- Enroll in PeoplePay online
- Enter the name and email or mobile phone number of the recipient in the Northern Bank app or in online banking
- Add a personal message
- Hit send and you’re done.
The person you are sending money to (or requesting money from) receives an email or text walking them through the simple steps to receive or send the funds.
People Pay is not available on iPad and Android tablets. You must be enrolled in Online Banking to access People Pay. Payments must come out of a Northern Bank checking account. For additional information, review the Online Banking Disclosure.

A new Mobile Banking feature from Northern Bank, Mobile Card Controls and Alerts give you the power to protect your Northern Bank Debit Mastercard ® right in the palm of your hand.
With this new feature, you can:
- Turn your debit cards off and on.
- Control where your cards can be used.
- Receive instant alerts on transactions.
