Head of Mortgage Servicing

Under the direction and guidance of the Senior Vice Present, General Manager of Residential Lending, the Head of Mortgage Servicing will lead Residential Lending’s Servicing Representatives and Servicing Assistant Manager while overseeing all aspects of the loan servicing process. 



  • Manage the loan servicing portfolio, including:

- Loan sales;

- Escrow administration;

- ARM rate change administration;

- Payment processing;

- Collections/loss mitigation;

  • Monitor daily reports from Core System (FIS) for quality control
  • Resolve and monitor system issues
  • Review and update information for pledged HELOC’s to the FHLB on a quarterly basis
  • Oversees insurance monitoring for the residential portfolio
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations for the loan portfolio
  • Perform investor servicing and reporting
  • Respond to residential credit bureau disputes and update directly through E-Oscar or via core system
  • Manage loan servicing staff by evaluating performance periodically and promoting staff
  • Performs ongoing staff development and cross training
  • Participate on Bank committees including the Business Continuity Committee and Compliance Committee
  • Responsible for the analysis of system enhancements and/or changes to the core process prior to implementation to ensure changes are compatible with the current internal process
  • Participate in user group meetings for vendors
  • Assist with ad hoc Bank wide projects as needed



  • Proven ability to manage multiple functions and employees;
  • Solid analytics with capability to review and re-design work flow processes;
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage origination process and functions;
  • Strong systems aptitude; FIS experience a plus;
  • Team player;
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in mortgage loan servicing;
  • Prior staff management experience preferred.
