Northern Bank and Trust Company Neighbors you can bank on.

About

Welcome to Northern Bank & Trust Company

In 1960, a small group of aspiring businessmen pooled their resources and intellect with one goal in mind: To form a new local bank. This new bank would be sensitive and responsive to the credit needs of the citizens of Woburn and the small businesses located here. Originally known as Woburn Bank & Trust Company, we opened our doors at 327 Main Street in the heart of the City’s center.

Since then, we have experienced dramatic change.  In 2010, Northern Bank & Trust Company celebrated 50 years of proud service. From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a comprehensive financial network with offices located throughout Middlesex County. While we have grown, we have remained true to our slogan, “Neighbors you can bank on.”

We have long been inspired by our slogan, and consistently dedicate ourselves to servicing our customers and our community.  We provide credit and safeguard your deposits in both the best of times and the most challenging times.

As President & CEO, I am grateful to the staff, officers, and directors of the bank for their dedicated service to our business and our community. Without our loyal customers, we would not be able to maintain our independence and serve the financial needs of our customers.

I recognize that businesses today have a variety of options when it comes to banking. On behalf of the entire Northern Bank & Trust Company staff, I invite you to join us and learn firsthand why we’ve earned our reputation, “Neighbors you can bank on.”

Sincerely,

James J. Mawn, Jr.
President & CEO
